I'm passionate about innovating in science and technology for the common good, and leveraging the power of entrepreneurship to make global positive change. I started my journey as an entrepreneur at 13 by filing a provisional patent for a novel frequency-based mosquito repelling device, and I've since been engaged in scientific research throughout high school and college. I currently work in the Bao Group, where, using a polymeric material they've pioneered, I'm creating muscle-like fibers that can perform up to 27,000x better than the next best comparable technology. My previous projects encompass polymer science, tissue engineering, machine learning, synthetic biology, and targeted drug delivery. I've presented my research at the American Physical Society (APS) and Materials Research Society (MRS), and I'm published in MRS Communications and the Journal of Ethics in Science and Technological Innovation. In my free time, I blacksmith, play guitar, both performing in front of hundreds of people or campfire acoustic guitar, and I play golf.
