I worked under two departments during my internship under Dr. Ghassan Kassab, Chairman of the Board and researcher. I started by working with the FAIR Data Innovations Hub team, led by Dr. Bhavesh Patel. During my time with them, I worked to create a computer program using Python that checks whether publications that mention they have linked their code actually have. This program was used for one of their ongoing projects. Next, I worked with Neil Drake, a senior engineer at the institute. I helped to troubleshoot an ongoing issue their lab was having with their research involving bioimpedance. I successfully discovered one of the causes for inconsistency in their experiments, and I finished by writing a comprehensive report on what I discovered.
